NOW HIRING
LIFEGUARDS and SWIM INSTRUCTORS
for our 2023 Summer Swim Season
We are seeking LIFEGUARDS to join our team! This is a great part-time summer job during the May through September months.
Requirements & Qualifications:
• Must be a minimum of 16 years old
• Ability to interact in a positive and polite manner with pool guests of all ages
• Able to work independently on assigned responsibilities
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance around the pool grounds
• MUST possess current Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid Certifications (online certifications are not accepted)
The Lifeguards are on duty Tuesdays thru Sundays from 12:00pm to 8:00pm and on the following holidays: Memorial day, 4th of July, and Labor Day. Lifeguards are also on duty 10:00am to 1:00pm, during our Summer Fun Swim Camp, swim lessons, Saturday morning home swim meets, and other swim activities as needed.
Hourly rate: $16.50

We are also hiring WATER SAFETY INSTRUCTORS! Our swim program is divided into 4 two-week sessions. Lessons will be taught Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 12:00pm and will be offered from June 6 through July 31, 2022. Lessons are 30 minutes in duration for each level. This is a part-time position.
Requirements & Qualifications:
• MUST possess current Red Cross Levels 1 through 5 WSI- Certification (online certifications are not accepted)
• Ability to interact in a positive, polite and friendly manner with swim lesson students and parents/guardians
• Be punctual and dependable
Previous water safety instruction experience is preferred.
Hourly rate: $17.00

Work Permits: Minors will be subject to state guidelines and restrictions governing their employment while employed with Deane Homes Swim Club. This shall include a work permit. Minors seeking information regarding work permits should contact their local school district. When applicable, work permits must be obtained prior to beginning employment.
